Day 07: Jayden the Socialite (for Cthork Borg)
This will be the final Cthork Borg character for now.
Agility +1
Presence 0
Strength 0
Toughness -1
Stability -1
Hit Points: 4
Social Standing: 3
Omens: 4
Lap Of Luxury. Your Social Standing is your Stability + 4.
Well-Liked. You gain -2 DR to Presence tests where etiquette or charm is a factor.
The Right Introductions. Once per investigation, when your group needs something odd but not
impossible (a chartered plane flight, a ticket to a seance, entry to the botanical gardens at night,) you may simply declare that you have a contact who can provide it as repayment for a past favor.
The Strange Thing About Jayden: Your parents think you’re being straightened out right now. They think college will get you away from partying and self-destructive bravado or whatever. They think you’ll experience hard work and the joy of learning, and it will put the Tesla you totaled into perspective. Okay, that last part was pretty stupid.
You're studying economics. Economics is interesting. The things that drive us, the incentives that work on humans. In a sense, Economics systematizes normalcy.
Not that you are normal.. You were in high school before you discovered that not every house has that special room with the tubes and the metal tables. That other children do not give blood to their father. He isn’t well, your father, and the frequent transfusions enables him to really live.
Those blood-letting days were always preceded by favorites. Your favorite food, video games, destinations. You grew to loathe most of those things. Others saw the spoiled kid, but you knew what it all cost. The cold steel table, the days of dizziness and fatigue. The expectations.
