Day 19: Fenestriel Dudgeon, Retired Fae General

A fae general for A Crucible of Silver. A bit full of themselves

Fenestriel Dudgeon

Background: Retired General
Class: Fae Advisor (1)

You mortals know nothing of our wars. The wars of the Fae were great and terrible! The Moon is an eyeball that was knocked out  when the Actual fought the Assumed to a standstill. Your ancestors were still picking fleas out of each other's fur. Habit won a pyrrhic victory over Novelty, and you people just said “dear me, it’s raining cats and dogs out there”. Prism warriors beat seven shades of ecru out of beige, and you said “look, a rainbow!”

I was a general then, and might still be, if the leaders hadn’t sued for peace. I hammered my sword into a plowshare years ago, until the wars came back to haunt us; that is the thing with metal, it can be reforged. I’ll reforge you mortal rabble too.

Cold Iron Weakness
Fae characters take maximum damage from cold iron weapons.

Eyes Like Starlight
The Fae can always see portals to other realms. They also can feel the location of ley lines and other places of magical power when they are on them

Fae Fire
The Fae can cause fire to dance and act at their command. They can even conjure the illusion of shapes and beings in the fire. The Fae can not compel the fire to grow or harm other beings while this occurs.
