Day 18: Swithin Goudenrath, Thespian Rat With a Tarnished Rep
Background: Famous Actor
Class: Rat-Thief (1)
Why yes, I am the Swithin Goudenrath. Thank you for asking. Would you like an autograph? How about a recitation of my final soliloquy in Bucktoothed Came the Baroness? Or maybe a thrilling performance of the final battle in Corlando?
Why am I out here with the Great Unwashed? Discrimination, dear. Plain and simple. I did a sold-out solo show. Alchemical Warfare, exactly. The war widows cried their absolute TITS off. Then some vulgarian whose name shan’t get past my lips wrote a pamphlet. This obscene hack put forth the idea that I was maligning our brave troops, and what was a filthy rat doing on stage anyway? I may have poked him with a salad fork, but that was tit-for-tat. His followers had no call to run me out of the city.
What? Right-o my captain! Gotta dash dear. Apparently we have to go slay a basilisk in a cave. What nonsense! Of course the captain of our merry band wants me to take point. Toodles!

Class Abilities
Unnoticed
Rat-thieves have an almost magical ability to blend into the background. If they are attacked when there are other targets for the enemy nearby the enemy is at disadvantage to hit.
If they remain motionless they have a 5-in-6 chance to meld into the scenery when outdoors and 3-in-6 to hide in the shadows when indoors.
Burglar
Rat-thieves have a 3-in-6 chance to not trigger, or to ignore the effects of a trap. They also have an almost supernatural ability (5-in-6) to sneak past enemies without them noticing.
Luck
Rat-thieves can never roll a natural 20 the first time. Anytime they roll a 20 on a d20 they can roll again, the second result stands.
Unclean
If a rat-thief handles a cursed item, it will not act as a cursed item, however it will not lose its cursed status or identify itself as cursed.
Quick Footed
Rat-thieves have advantage on DEX rolls and have +1 defense in combat.
