Day 04: A New System and A Slug

The next few days I'll create some characters using KillSector. KillSector is an rpg/gladiatorial combat game with a certain silliness factor. Like OverWatch made by Jean Giraud and GWAR.

The system is point-buy with A LOT of weapons, powers and body configurations.

Globulorr, 8th Inheritor of the Filth Oases

Globulorr has the same problem that all young offspring of nobility have: all the older siblings have already inherited everything. If Globulorr belonged to another species, they might have decided to work for some charity, or become a critter of the cloth. As the mighty ooze-slugs have no religion, and consider charity absurd, Globulorr decided to become a gladiator in the wildly popular FunWar gladiatorial tournaments. Eating their opponent (PainTaur Ultimo) in the qualifying round turned out to be a major crowd pleaser.

Next event is the Rag Tag Attack, in which the contestants are divided into groups of three and tasked with getting to the center of a maze. Globulorr’s teammates will discover that the nigh-omnivorous slug-prince somehow manages to be a massive snob.

160 HP / 50 EVA / 6 SPD / 2 HAND

Base attack: Melee / 0 / very weak bludgeoning

2 pt /// Vicious Acid Spit
 6 squares / -10 / average+15 acid
Can be used in a grapple without provoking an attack of opportunity.

1 pt ///Carnivore
Able to eat organic matter quickly, healing  you in the process. Eating a “meal” worth of a dead  organic character takes a swift action, and heals you 15 HP.

How many meals an organic body provides depends on its size:

 Tiny 1 meal
 Small 2 meals
 Medium 4 meals
 Large 8 meals
 Huge 16 meals

Organic handheld devices provide one meal if one-handed, two meals if two-handed.
If you kill an organic creature with a bite attack, or land a crit on an organic creature with a bite
attack, you can consume a meal from them in the process. Eating a meal out of a still-living target reduces their max HP by half the damage dealt by the bite attack used to eat them.

6 pt///Amoeba Body
Using your Carnivore ability, you can eat every meal they ‘hold’ as a single swift action.

Whenever someone touches you or you touch them, you automatically roll an opposed grapple check - no need to roll to hit, as they are already touching you. If you succeed, you engulf them into your body. On each of their turns while inside your body, they take strong acid damage, and
can make an opposed grapple check as a standard action to attempt to escape. They can only attack you once inside, and only with attacks that can be used in a grapple - if they do, they automatically hit, as they are inside you.
You can also attack them with any attack you can use in a grapple. You are not considered to be in a grapple when you have someone within you as per this function.

1 pt ///Squishy Body
Take 30 less damage from bludgeoning. You can squeeze through gaps up to two size categories smaller than you as hindering terrain. You can take up as little as one-fourth the amount of seats you’d usually take up in a vehicle or other vessel without penalty.

Weakness: 2 pt///High Metabolism
You start off the gauntlet with 6 Metabolism. Standard actions cost 2 Metabolism, move actions cost 1 Metabolism. When cashing in a standard action for a move action, calculate that as a move action.
When you run out of Metabolism, you can only move 1 square for a move action (this does not
consume metabolism), and you lose your move action allotment per turn - you must instead cash in your standard action to use a move action. You also have -25 on all rolls.
Whenever you eat a meal while already at max HP, you gain 1 Metabolism. Eating never consumes Metabolism
